The Consequences of Ideas

July 30, 2018 - An introduction to the ideas that have shaped our culture.

This book is very approachable for someone not technically trained in philosophy, but who is interested in learning about the major players in the discipline. He does a good job of explaining the context in which each philosopher operated and how each philosopher relates to the others.

As the title implies, the book takes for granted the assertion that ideas have consequences - something I deeply believe.
